I was born in the city of Larissa in the region of Thessaly, Greece. I grew up in a house full of people: my parents and my sister Victoria, various cousins, aunts and uncles, family friends. The older cousins provided the younger ones with books and music. For the duration of the summer holidays we moved to Platamon, on the coast of Pieria. For three whole months we played, swam, rode bikes and watched movies in open-air cinemas.<\/p>\n

In my last year at school I was awarded a prize <\/strong><\/em>for an essay on Thessaly,<\/strong><\/em><\/strong>\u00a0which was published by Efthyni Publishing House.<\/p>\n

I went on to study Modern Greek Literature at the university of Thessaloniki. I made loads of friends there, exchanging books and music with them, and I travelled a great deal, in Greece and abroad: to Chalkidiki, to the Cycladic islands, and whenever I could afford it, all over Europe by InterRail. \nAfter I graduated, I moved to Athens, where I worked as a journalist for many years. I had the honor of being Head of Press Office for the Orchestra of Colors. In 1996, I married the well known composer Thanos Mikroutsikos and my daughter Alexandra was born in the same year.<\/p>\n

In 2001, I gave birth to Stergios, my second child; my first book, \u00abGoodnight, Mum\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
